Our accredited DMIRS Dangerous Goods consultant can assess compliance, prepare, and endorse Dangerous Goods license applications, carry out compliance audits and conduct risk assessments.

Dangerous Goods Training
Business must provide workers with adequate training, information, and instructions to perform and comply with their job role and be aware of their safety responsibilities and requirements. Not only does this to help improve safety with awareness of hazards, but it is also a regulatory requirement.
The Dangerous Goods Safety (Storage and Handling of Non-explosives) Regulations 2007; Regulation 81 states; Training, supervision etc of people involved with Dangerous Goods shall be trained so they are familiar with:
- The nature of the work and safe methods of operation.
- Properties and hazards of substances.
- The location of First Aid kits.
- The correct use, care, and maintenance of PPE.
- Actions to be taken in various emergencies.
- Control measures in the facility.
- Content and operation of Safe Operating Procedures.
At Inherent we can provide training that aims to familiarise personnel with the hazards associated with the dangerous goods and hazardous chemicals handled on site and promote an understanding of how to reduce the risk. A participant at completion of the training will be able to comprehend the hazards and required safe controls required for safe storage and handling.
Who is Dangerous goods training for?
